Today we spent some time cleaning grime off the engine. It was very dirty and we used screwdrivers to scrape it off. We also took of the cylinder head. While we were taking it off one of the screws was very tight and was refusing to move. But after a few attempts we got it out but it had snapped clean in half. We also spent some time cleaning the cylinder head. We also took the head gasket off and spent some time cleaning them. We could now see the piston and combustion chamber. We also cleaned some oil out of the combustion chamber and cleaned the piston. We also took the flywheel off. We took the big bolt holding it off then we used two hammers and hit the flywheel off. Next week we are going to film the four strokes and valves on our engine and upload them.
